Back in February I wrote a post about my friend Lindsey Karr. This past week Lindsey passed away after an 11 year battle against brain tumors. A beautiful, strong, powerful example of the positive outlook and determination we should all use to approach life. She is truly an amazing person and will be dearly missed. This was a 5k event to raise money to pay for the ever increasing medical bills.
This darling girl (only 3 yrs old) was determined she was going to run just as fast as her little legs could carry her. And of course she was determined to run the whole way with her mom. We followed behind her for at least a mile while she just kept plugging along until her mom convinced her that it was ok to climb in the stroller!
About 5 seconds after I snapped this shot Dad gracefully cut off this innocent little boy. The crash that ensued was just a little tragic, but the little boy bravely climbed back on his bike and rode off without a word.
